1. Who are the A24 Group?
The A24 Group are a large, privately-owned specialist medical staffing group. We operate throughout the UK and South Africa, specialising in the supply of temporary nurses, healthcare assistants, doctors and professionals allied to medicine. 2. Will my work opportunities remain the same?
Yes, it is ‘business as usual’ and we will continue to book you for Holt Medical opportunities as they come through to us. However, a major added benefit for all Holt Medical members will be (subject to compliance) the opportunity to work for any of our allied health agencies in the group – affording you the opportunity control how little or how much work you receive – and at some of the best medical staffing pay rates in the country.
3. Will there be any changes to the way I am paid?
Your payment cycle will remain exactly the same: timesheets received on a Tuesday will be paid to your bank the following Tuesday. We will, however, be centralising payroll to our Sutton group head office. 4. Can I continue to use my existing timesheets?
Yes you can: any Holt Medical Recruitment timesheet that is correctly presented and authorised will be processed for payment in the usual way.
5. Will our holiday year continue to run from January to 30th November?
No, your holiday year will now run from 1st October to 30th September annually. Please note that holiday pay cannot be carried over, but holiday accrued to date will of course be honoured as long as holiday forms are presented in the correct manner and properly authorised.
6. Who do I contact when I need to update my training, CRB etc?
We will be centralising all our compliance processes, although your branch can of course continue to assist you as usual. As a group we have invested extensively in advanced technology to help us manage your records and to ensure that we are on hand to assist you at all times. We have a team of over 100 support staff who will be working hard to ensure that your record is updated correctly onto our systems. You will have the added benefit of being able to view your current status with us via our online portal www.staffshift.com. Staffshift enables you to manage your compliance status, submit new payroll information, view your personal details ,download timesheets and update your availability all on-line, at any time.
7. Who do I contact for shifts?
Your contacts for shifts will remain exactly the same. We will, however, also have a supporting team of consultants for Holt Medical Recruitment who will deal with areas throughout the UK where we do not have a branch location: this team can be contacted on tel. 0871 87 333 43
8. Can I make myself available to all of the agencies within the A24 Group?
Absolutely, as a member of the A24 Group, subject to your compliance status you will be able to work for any of our nursing divisions.
9. Who do I speak to if I am unhappy about anything?
